A little update …

Hello everyone…and welcome to March 2024 (I can’t quite believe how the time has flown since I last posted on here!!!).

How are you all feeling? I hope your 2024 has started well.

I always find the start to the new year difficult and feel like I am finally back in the flow again now. I like to take time to look after my mental wellbeing at the start of the year as that’s when it is more challenging for me. I enjoy setting intentions at the start of a new year and then review them again throughout the year. Do you find that you work better setting goals or intentions for a new year?

I Completely resonated with this post from @spiritdaughter on Instagram. Anyone else?

Things I’ve been loving this month

Listening to –

Jonas Brothers – https://jonasbrothers.com

I’m off to see them on their tour in the UK in June so I’m getting excited now it’s getting closer (having booked tickets in August last year, and counting down ever since fangirling has well and truly begun 😊)

Scouting For Girls – https://www.scoutingforgirls.com

Having been a huge fan of Scouting For Girls since the days of ‘MySpace’ (who else remembers that?!? Used to be my go to for connecting with bands and new music). They are back better than ever with their new album ‘The Place We Used To Meet’ absolutely the best one since their first album ‘Scouting For Girls’. I had the pleasure of seeing them Live in Oxford in October last year and will be sharing more from this soon.

Reading –

The Four Ways to Wellbeing by Nicola Elliott – https://neomwellbeing.com/products/four-ways-to-wellbeing-nicola-elliott

I was incredibly excited when I heard the Founder of Neom was releasing a book. I am all about finding simple ways to look after your wellbeing and in this book Nicola shares the people and products and the top four ways to improve your wellness.

I was lucky enough to attend one of her book launch events and I am looking forward to sharing more from this very soon too!

Keeping Social

Things that have been happening over on my Instagram @lovedbyjane – last November and December I ran a chat series talking about all things lifestyle, wellness and personal development, sharing the things that have helped me along the way on my journey (yes I know that word journey can be a bit cringy but it’s certainly been one and love helping others from my experiences, even if it helps just one person to feel better ❤️)

As someone who has always suffered with anxiety and struggled with lack of confidence and self belief – I thought it would be great to share the things that have really helped me to manage my anxiety, feel more confident and build much better self belief

If you haven’t seen these you can catch up here…

week 1

Done is better than Perfect

Jen Sincero

Week 2

It is only when the mind is open and receptive that learning and seeing and change can occur

Jon Kabat-Zinn

Week 3

Turn inevitable self-doubt into productive self-talk. Whenever you notice your inner monologue trash-talking you into a sinkhole of self-doubt, use this trick. Add the word ‘yet’ to the end of your thoughts

Marie Forleo

Week 4

Week 5
Week 6
Week 7

Thanks so much for taking the time to read or watch anything I’ve shared. I’m so looking forward to sharing with you what else has bringing me Joy next time.

Do more of what gives you joy. Whenever you can, however you can, as much as you can

We The Urban

I’ll be back with much more very soon and if you would like to stay updated I am going to post the last Sunday of every month from May with recommendations and things I’ve been up too.

Thank you so much for all your love and support on my blog 😊

love Jane x
